Mneme changelog What has shipped.
Every release, what changed and why. Each one stands in its own bay of this gallery, the newest nearest. The schema only moves forward: no column is dropped or renamed, so your graph survives every update.
- v0.4.1Genesis, the model ships with the installer
- v0.4.0Genesis, the keystone release, May 2026
- v0.3.2Before the keystone, April 2026
- v0.1 to v0.3The foundation, April 2026
v0.4.1 · Genesis
The model comes with it.
The installers fetch v0.4.1 on Windows and on Linux x86_64; macOS and Linux arm64 still receive v0.4.0.
- InstallerThe install scripts now download the BGE embedding model and its tokenizer from
dist.stryxlabs.com, check each file’s SHA-256 and register them, so semantic recall works on a fresh install. - Uninstall
mneme uninstallalways removes its hooks from the Claude Code settings, even when it cannot find the platform it was installed for. - DoctorClearer messages throughout: the hook count, the PATH notice, the update check and the model status now say what is true.
v0.4.0 · Genesis · May 2026
The keystone release.
- ResolversSymbol resolvers for Rust, TypeScript and Python. Embeddings are now keyed on the canonical symbol, so a search finds the function and not the README.
- HooksMneme guides the agent: a reminder on every prompt, a blast-radius check before an edit, and a hint before a Grep or a Read that never blocks.
- Graph viewsThe Force Galaxy view paints first in under half a second on Mneme’s own repository of 17,000 nodes.
- Updates
mneme self-updatechecks the new binary after the swap and puts the old one back if the check fails. - Export
mneme graph-exportwrites the graph as GraphML, an Obsidian vault, Cypher, SVG or JSON-LD. - MemoryConcepts recalled with
recall_conceptare kept on disk and survive a restart of the daemon.
v0.3.2 · April 2026
Before the keystone.
- ToolsThe full audit suite: security, performance, accessibility and reliability.
- PlatformsInstall on macOS, Linux and Windows.
- ViewsThe first set of fourteen graph views.
- The gap it leftRecall was anchored to text, so different names for the same function counted as different symbols. Genesis closed it with the resolvers.
v0.1 to v0.3 · April 2026
Where the memory began.
The build-up to a public release: a store in SQLite with twenty-seven layers and write-ahead logging, a daemon for Windows, macOS and Linux, a file watcher that rebuilds only what changed, and an embedder on the CPU through ONNX Runtime.
At the end of the gallery stands its oldest piece: a marble bust from the Virtual Museums of Małopolska, scanned and shared for everyone to use.
